A Years Progress

I began animating on February 1st 2007, I never got around to making anything to show a lot of improvement, so a couple hours ago, I decided to do something.
I pulled random files that I had, old and new and put them together.
Sure, I was a huge noob before, and somewhat am today, but please tell me what you think.


I'm guessing this took 3-4 hours to make. Haha

Pretty cool, you're a great Cinematic Animator. You might even be better than Oscar How do you get them all the same size because I highly doubt they all had the same canvas size?

Yeah, most of the animations had different aspect ratios, but I either changed the sizes of the clips or made the backgrounds/extended some things.

I think better than Oscar is taking it a bit too far.
As for what I think. The backgrounds and 3D were really great. But the character animation was not up to par with the other stuff. Keep at it though. If you bring your character animation up to the level of those backgrounds and 3D effects then you will be great.

Well yeah, I kinda meant the backgrounds and the scenery were almost better. Oscar is better all around.

Oscers animations bored me actually, he uses some great angles and good ideas, but his animation was kinda bad to me.

That was great, i wish it would be longer though.

I thought this was one of the best animations ive ever seen in my life. The cintemtatics were sweet, the animating was pretty sick, and overall it was the shit. I think that the effects and everything were great, but as said above the charcater animations couldve been better. imporve on those and i think you'll be a great animator, if you arent all ready....

errr, im allowed to speak freely right?? its only my opinion, which is worth nothing....

He thinks it's funny because it's a stick animation done with flash. In comparrison with Toy Story and the likes...well you know...

Not to take away from Garret's work, it's really awesome. Just trying to explain what I think Moppy is saying.

and i can tell you that the chopper looks good the tank would look better if it was more three d but other than that it is a great animation
